Matthew focuses his defense litigation practice on representing clients in matters involving general liability, New York Labor Law, premises liability, motor vehicle liability and insurance coverage. His representative experience also includes handling commercial litigation, real estate, property damage and contract disputes.
Matthew handles clients’ cases from inception and provides counsel through all phases of litigation, with a strong emphasis on risk transfer. He has taken and defended hundreds of depositions and regularly appears in court throughout New York City and surrounding counties. Matthew also serves as monitoring counsel for insurance carriers on excess insurance matters with significant exposure. His clients include a wide range of business and property owners, construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and municipalities across New York State.
